ABOUT
US
The ‘Ayo
clan’ and their fast becoming famous recipes, originated in the
foothills of the Himalayas over 200years ago. In 1971, Maurice and
Leslie Ayo, and their five children, emigrated to the land of Oz
with their recipes in tow.
In 1991, Michael, one of the five Ayo
children, escaped the hustle and bustle of Sydney, with his wife
Julie, and their five children. They fell in love with and settled
in beautiful Byron Bay...
Ayo’s Fiery Food Works was born out of
constant requests from friends, and friends of friends, for ‘another
bottle of their favourite pickle’. After winning first place for
‘best pickle’ in the Fiery Food Challenge 2002, and the extremely
positive response we received, we decided that it was time to let
the rest of the world share our little secret.
